Day 4 of 31: Getting Some House Maintenance in Order

Last weekend we were out of town and the night we got home I noticed an extremely annoying chirping.  It was the fire alarm in my office.  I have been ignoring it mostly because I have just been too busy to stop for a minute and get the ladder out.  So today's getting in order is pretty simple.  I got my husband to bring the ladder in and I changed out the batteries.  Life more in order, safety more in order! It was actually really simple and the quiet of the removed chirping is heaven. 

While I had the ladder in there I decided to just go through the house and change all the alarms that I haven't changed in the last year.
